Wild Utah Project offers a handful of opportunities each year for our volunteers to get out in the field with us to collect data that is important for to ongoing monitoring efforts and research studies associated with our Wildlife Science and Wildlife Policy Programs. Data collection trips range from one-day stints in the Wasatch Front to multi-day camp-outs in remote mountain terrain and sage-steppe ecosystems throughout the State. Reservations for these trips are conducted on a first come first serve basis, and are usually free of charge or with a small fee to off-set food-costs. If you have a few hours to spare and would like to volunteer in our office, or have past field experience (either with us or elsewhere), and want to see about volunteering here and there with ongoing field work, send Allison an email!
