Wild Utah Project offers a handful of opportunities each year for our volunteers to get out in the field with us to collect data that is important for to ongoing monitoring efforts and research studies associated with our Wildlife Science and Wildlife Policy Programs. Data collection trips range from one-day stints in the Wasatch Front to multi-day camp-outs in remote mountain terrain and sage-steppe ecosystems throughout the State. Reservations for these trips are conducted on a first come first serve basis, and are usually free of charge or with a small fee to off-set food-costs. We host interns year round at Wild Utah Project, including a summer ecological field intern, and one or more GIS interns each semester. If you have a few hours to spare and would like to volunteer in our office, or have past field experience (either with us or elsewhere), and want to see about volunteering here and there with ongoing field work, send Allison Jones an email!
Every donation counts at Wild Utah Project, as we are a small organization putting minimal resources to the maximum use for conservation. Please visit our donation page to make a secure donation today.
